The Indiana Poll-Ettes are selling their cookbooks “A Taste of Hererford”.  The cookbook contains many delicious recipes from ladies (and gentlemen) from all over the United States.  The cost of each cookbook is $12. Scholarship

In 2005, the Indiana Poll-Ettes established a memorial scholarship from a grant that was given to them from the Indiana Hereford Association Board of Directors. Memorial donations may be made to this scholarship fund in the memory of a loved one that has past on.

The purpose of the scholarship is to honor and recognize an outstanding Junior member of the Indiana Junior Hereford Association.

Eligibility includes any IJHA current member who has completed at least one year of post high school education; who is not over the age of 21 by January 1, 2008; and has a parent or guardian that is a paid member of the Indiana Hereford Association.

The scholarship applicant must submit a completed application prior to the deadline and be available for an interview at the Hoosier Beef Congress in December.

A plaque and $500 will be presented to the scholarship winner at the IHA annual meeting. The deadline to submit an application is November 1, 2007. Applications should be sent to the scholarship chairman:

We welcome any lady who would like to join the Poll-Ettes. We cherish our members and would love to share the fun and fellowship with new members.
